Kazakhstan

 

Kazakhstan is a country in West Asia. This card shows Kok Tobe (Kok Tube) in the city of Almaty. Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan and Kok Tobe is its highest point. Received this card from Fiona who was on an epic road trip ^_^

Israel

Israel is a country in West Asia. The card shows a number of sites in Israel including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. This card was received through a direct swap.

Dominica

 

Dominica or officially the Commenwealth of Dominica is an island country in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea. The island was sighted by explorer Christopher Columbus on Sunday and he named the it after the Latin word for Sunday.

Kenya

Kenya is a country in Africa and it's capital is Nairobi. The card shows 2 zebras in a play mood and was sent by a friend who was there attending a wedding. Thanks for taking the effort Shankar!

Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island country situated between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Not surprisingly, the 2 major inhibited islands are Antigua and Barbuda. The card shows Pigeon Point Beach on Antigua. It was sent by a friend who was on a Caribbean Cruise.

Cyprus - Protaras

Cyprus is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. It is a major tourist destination in the Mediterranean. This card shows Protaras which is a tourist resort.

Isle of Man - Niarbyl

The Isle of Man also simply known as Mann is a British Crown dependency located in the Irish Sea. This card shows the settlement of Niarbyl which means "the tail" in Manx because of  the way it extends into the Irish Sea. It is known for its sea views. 

Received this card from James through a direct swap. I know have cards from all 3 British Crown dependencies, the other two being Jersey and Guernsey :-)
